Opportunities to develop and enhance one’s social and daily living skills and to increase the range of leisure and community activities are also important elements of ProAct’s offerings. Life skills classes heighten community awareness through providing a variety of volunteer experiences and community outings. The goal is to foster independence and to provide greater social and community participation.

Much of this training occurs through the Day Support Services and Life Opportunities programs and is personalized based on an individual’s experiences, abilities and interests.
