PROACT GOLF CLASSIC SUPPORTS PEOPLE WITH DISABILITIES

The ProAct Golf Classic returns to Southview Country Club in West St. Paul on Monday, August 28 to benefit people with disabilities.

The 18-hole event brings players to a course known by some for its excellent rolling greens. “First rate accompaniments, an exciting course and an elegant banquet facility Southview Country Club to host 2015 ProAct Golf Classic make this event extra special,” said Steven Ditschler, president and CEO of ProAct. The venue is also convenient for many who choose to support the nonprofit through its only annual fundraiser.

The foursome scramble start tournament featured skill contests, team prizes and group photos. A live auction, raffle and gourmet dinner followed the game. The cost is $150 per golfer and a dinnner only option is available for $35.

With facilities in Eagan, Red Wing, Zumbrota and Hudson, Wis., ProAct is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit corporation which has served the needs of people with disabilities for more than 40 years.
