*High School diploma or general education degree (GED) with further training in health/rehabilitation or production preferred. Six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Applicants Must:
*Possess excellent written and oral communication skills.
*Be able to pass CPR and 1st Aid Certification.
*Pass DHS background study.
*Possess valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and be insurable at non-risk rates.
*Be able to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
*Be able to pass DOT Physical (additional testing required as a result of DOT physical will not be paid by ProAct); drug and alcohol testing.

Direct Service Professionals train and support individuals with disabilities in work, leisure, and classroom settings. Plans, prepares class curriculum/lesson plans and teaches in-person and virtual classes. Provides assistance with various activities and support in a work setting. Assists with behavior management plans. Completes all record keeping in a timely and accurate manner, including but not limited to consumer time cards, case notes, behavior observation charts, seizure logs, daily logbook, and accident/injury reports. Assists with consumer’s personal care needs including but not limited to toileting, feeding, food preparation/set-up, break room supervision, dressing and washing. Transports individuals on a daily basis and provides coverage for lunch duty.

7:00 a.m. – 1:30 p.m. – Friday
$16.50/hour
