Opportunities to develop and enhance one’s social and daily living skills and to increase the range of leisure and community activities are also important elements of ProAct’s offerings. Life skills classes heighten community awareness through providing a variety of volunteer experiences and community outings. The goal is to foster independence and to provide greater social and community participation.

Much of this training occurs through the Adult Day Services, Day Training & Habilitation and Life Opportunities programs and is personalized based on an individual’s experiences, abilities and interests.

Employment Training Services (ETS) has pre-vocational services that are designed to prepare individuals for employment, equipped with good work habits and effective interpersonal and problem solving skills. Available at the Eagan and Red Wing locations.
