Online projects with ‘castle twist’ achieve their goal: having fun

Computer angles, lighting and other online glitches can’t dissuade Robin Smith and her ProAct participants from having a good time with art projects. They are part of a Wednesday virtual enrichment arts class held on Zoom.

The Eagan classroom instructor and her students transformed everyday household items into Halloween castles. “We laugh, talk and enjoy each other’s company, retaining the connections we’ve made at ProAct.”

Smith sends out instructions for each craft a week ahead of time so participants can gather materials and address any issues prior to the class event. “It’s also wonderful to see family members and staff having a good time creating crafts, too,” said Smith.
