ProAct, a program that serves people with disabilities, received a $200,000 grant for training Monday from the State of Minnesota in conjunction with Minnesota State College-Southeast Technical of Red Wing.

Steve Ditschler, ProAct’s president, says the new funding will allow him to craft curriculum that’s touted as the first in state history, if not the country. It’s designed to foster greater productivity and self-sufficiency, better value to business customers, increased wages and a greater level of professionalism, according to a ProAct press release.
