Hudson Fall Festival, fire tour, Halloween

Day Support Services in Hudson had a jam-packed October, said Senior Program Manager Stephanie Osman. They tipped the month off with a Fall Festival and everyone enjoyed searching for pumpkins during the scavenger hunt. Participants and staff were grateful to be able to fit in some last minute outdoor activities at the pumpkin patch and some park visits.

Full tour at Fire Department

One of the group’s favorite activities was visiting the Hudson Fire Department.  Participants toured the entire facility, said Osman, even the locker room, and learned just how fast a firefighter has to get into gear. “They were able to climb into the trucks and learn how the instruments and tools are used and taken care of.”

Halloween festivities

There was no way to better cap off the month than celebrating the ever popular Halloween. Participants enjoyed dressing in costume and playing their favorite past time, Halloween themed bingo!
