On mission, committed to serve

Dear ProAct families and participants, customers and supporters,

You may be aware that we have had several staff and people in our programs out due to precautions or quarantining for the coronavirus. Like other businesses, we know these situations run in cycles and there are extra safeguards and procedures that we’ve used consistently for many months.

We are open and operating on weekdays with our COVID-19 Safety Preparedness Plan as a guide. It receives regular updates as directed by the Department of Human Services and the Department of Health. We are fortunate that our staff are cross-trained and are doing a fine job of filling in.

I think I can speak for all of us when I say that the virus has required some adjustments and changes to make things work. I am so proud of our staff and the clients who are doing their part to keep themselves and others safe. Virtual or remote services have served as a solid alternative when participants need to stay home. ProAct continues to serve people in the community, as well.

There are a lot of pieces in the ProAct puzzle and the parts are all functioning. They just might look a little different than they did a year ago.

Please be assured that ProAct is here and will be here in the future. Our mission has not changed. We are thankful for the opportunity to serve people in Minnesota and western Wisconsin, and the customers who rely on us. Thank you for your partnership and for staying connected to the ProAct family.

Sincerely,

Judie Foster-Lupkin
ProAct President and CEO
