ProAct’s employment specialists are known for their caring, creative, and dedicated services. These skillsets have enabled employment services to continue virtually for students and adults during the coronavirus crisis.
Employment Specialist Cindy Besonnie continues to provide services for participants. Although one person was temporarily laid off due to COVID-19, Besonnie continues to be there for her with daily phone check-ins.
She is also working with high school students in pre-employment transition services and has shifted from in-person tours and job shadows to connecting virtually with businesses in order to keep students engaged. While providing virtual services, Cindy is also present to support a participant who recently switched positions at a local grocery store.
