Warm, safe and busy well-defined participants and staff at ProAct in Shakopee as December rolled in. “The weather sure did throw us for a loop, but we didn’t miss a beat,” said Senior Program Manager Ali Brown.

The group’s dance for “National Square Dance Day” was delayed a day, but Brown said they had much fun, calling out line dancers.

Book donations kept rolling in, with appreciation for all who gave. The Library Nook is shaping up and a Christmas tree was added for decorating. There were community scavenger hunts and polka.

A Holiday Passport class began. Brown wondered how many stamps it will get. Participants looked forward to “Christmas Sock Day,” as well, and couldn’t wait to see the fun foot coverings. Adding to the drama, Shakopee put a “Christmas Tub” auction basket up for bid.
