The Minnesota Department of Human Services notified adult day
centers Sunday that they have to immediately close and stop providing
services as part of Gov. Tim Walz’s stay at home order.

“We understand this is a significant step, impacting many seniors and
vulnerable people across Minnesota, as well as your businesses and
employees. You provide valuable and needed services, but the challenges
of the COVID-19 virus require far-reaching steps to protect our
communities,” the letters sent by DHS said in part.
