Eagan, MN. – Today, ProAct Inc. an in-center, virtual, and community-based service provider for individuals with disabilities, was joined by community members, disability advocates, and elected officials like Rep. Liz Reyer and Rep. Pam Altendorf for a first look premiere to celebrate its upcoming appearance on public television affiliates in a Viewpoint Project media production. Viewpoint Project provided an award-winning team to strengthen ProAct’s goal of supporting the disability communities of Minnesota and Western Wisconsin and enhancing the lives of individuals in the areas of employment, life skills, and community inclusion. Viewpoint Project’s production featuring ProAct is set to appear on public television affiliates in Minnesota through 2025 and 2026.
“This is a great opportunity not only for our organization, but for our participants to gain a stronger sense of connection with their surrounding community,” said Stephanie Osman, Senior Program Manager at ProAct Eagan & Hudson. “Getting to turn on the TV and see their friends or even themselves is a thrilling experience.”
ProAct has served people with disabilities for over 50 years through a variety of programs like day support services, employment services, and individualized home supports with the mission of maximizing individual potential for greater self-sufficiency.
