This December, ProAct was thrilled to participate in the Holiday Gift Wrapping Fundraiser held at the Twin Cities Premium Outlets mall in Eagan.

Organized by the mall’s Marketing Director, Janet Fawcett, the event invited local non-profits, like ProAct, to staff festive gift wrapping booths during the busy holiday weekends.

In exchange for beautiful gift wrapping, shoppers provided donations that directly support the missions of participating organizations.

A Festive Success for ProAct

ProAct volunteers took to the booths on December 6th and 21st. It was a wonderful opportunity for our team to connect with the community and share more about our commitment to providing services and supporting our disability community.

This event was a resounding success as our team’s booth was stocked with quality wrapping supplies that ensured every gift looked its best for the holidays. The festive environment complete with holiday decor made the entire experience a joy for our volunteers. In addition, our community friends who stopped by to have their presents wrapped provided ProAct with over $500 in donations that will go to support ProAct’s programming and mission.

More Than Just a Fundraiser

Beyond the donations, this event served as a fantastic team-building experience for our group. It allowed us to partner closely with the Twin Cities Premium Outlets and engage with shoppers in a fun, meaningful way. From intricate bows to classic holiday patterns, our team enjoyed every minute of spreading holiday cheer.

We also can’t forget to mention all the wonderful photo opportunities that the ProAct team made certain to partake in.

Our entire organization is incredibly grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth to have their gifts wrapped. Your generosity helps us to continue our work in supporting those we serve through employment, day support, independent living, and community engagement.

A big thank you to the Twin Cities Premium Outlets team for the opportunity!
