ProAct is excited to announce the return of Brianna Otto to the Red Wing site as a Case Coordinator 2!

Brianna’s journey with ProAct began in February 2013, when she started as a Direct Support Professional at the Red Wing site. Over her 10 years with the organization, she transitioned to being an Employment Specialist at the Eagan site in 2018. She then returned to Red Wing as an Employment Development Coordinator, overseeing employment services. Before her brief departure, she held the position of Employment Development Manager.
Brianna’s passion for her work stems from the joy and excitement she sees when individuals are offered a job, whether it’s their first or a new opportunity. She finds it incredibly rewarding to be part of a process that helps people live more fulfilled lives.
When discussing her new role, Brianna shared her excitement about continuing to work with individuals she had previously helped. She’ll now expand her support in new ways to ProAct’s participants and community, focusing on employment and other essential supports that promote overall well-being and inclusion.
“It’s the people, the participants. Working with them, being with them, they make me so happy,” Brianna said.
In her new role as Case Coordinator 2, Brianna’s responsibilities will include supporting participants through their employment goals. She will support participants by offering continuous guidance to help each individual excel in their role. Through her work, Brianna will assist each individual in identifying and pursuing long-term career goals while acting as a bridge to facilitate communication with their managers when the need arises. Her efforts will ensure participants on the job will have the support they need when they need it.
“We are thrilled to have Brianna returning,” said Anna Shields, ProAct’s Program Director for Employment Services. “Brianna is a great fit for this role, bringing a strong combination of experience and skills.”
Brianna’s commitment to supporting others has been the driving force in her career, from assisting the elderly to her prior work at ProAct.
“I love getting to know and connecting with others at this level,” Brianna shared, “Every day is different and special, and you know you’re truly making a difference in their lives”.
