Eagan answered the why question at its Harvest Moon Week kickoff and read storybooks about the Harvest Moon. Plaid patterned clothing and focus groups for fall decorations were followed by a 10-apple scavenger hunt with a bonus golden apple. Carnival day had bowling, a hula hoop contest and the candy corn relay. Later, it was the hot moon rock game mimicking musical chairs and hot potato. Decorating mugs preceded moon pie treats, which had rave reviews!
