ProAct plans for full operations on May 11

April 8, 2020

ProAct Partners:

ProAct continues to follow changes related to the COVID-19 pandemic and take action to ensure the safety and health of our staff and those in our community. Today Governor Tim Walz issued an emergency executive order to extend the stay at home directive (or in their place of residence except to engage in “specified activities and sector work”) which began on Friday, March 27, 2020 now goes through Monday, May 4, 2020.

ProAct provides essential services and thus continues to operate with a reduced staff with plans to be fully operational as of 7:30 a.m. on Monday, May 11. Staff is available to answer questions by calling 651-686-0405 Monday-Friday from 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.

ProAct discontinued Day Training and Habilitation and Adult Day Services, as well as work at Group Employment sites, on March 23. We look forward to being up and fully operational as of Monday, May 11!

ProAct continues to provide Employment Support Services to both waiver and DEED funded participants. Employment Development and Exploration Services (waiver) and VR funded employment and related services continue to be provided both directly and virtually.

We are starting to provide virtual services with existing participants in the areas of enrichment and support on a one-to-one basis. This will continue to ramp up over the next week so call us for more information.

Production work at our Eagan and Red Wing locations continues with work performed by ProAct staff for businesses deemed critical – ProAct provides workers for Critical Sectors of the Workforce.

Thank you for your support during this difficult time and please stay safe and healthy!

Sincerely,

The ProAct Team
